- If you want to use LT12S/SB or FT15/15G with
Macintosh (Apple):
They are compatible
with Macintosh. However, they have to be connected to Power
Macintosh by using IBM VGA card. The LCD panels are not compatible
with conventional Macintosh because they have separate / composite
sync, whereas, the conventional Macintosh uses sync on green.

- If you want to use LCD Panels with different
voltages standard:
Yes, you can use
them in different countries with different voltages standard
because the included AC Adapters are universal AC
Adapters.
For LT12S/12SB AC adapter --- 90-260V,
50/60Hz For FT15/15G AC adapter ------ 100-240V,
50/60Hz
Back
- If you want to hook up a TV signal input
(cable, antenna, VCR, etc.) to LCD Panels:
Yes, you can.
However, you need an interface card in your computer to do that.
Back
- If you cannot find Win'95 driver for LCD
Panels:
Please download the
Win95/98
driver.
Back
- If you want to install Win'95 driver for LCD
Panels:
Please do the following
steps: 1. Download the Win95
driver. 2. Save the file into a
diskette. 3. In Win'95, click the following sequence in
Desktop: My Computer, Control Panel, Display,
Setting, Advanced Properties/Change Display Type,
Monitor, Change, and Have disk 4.
Insert your driver diskette. 5. It will start installing
automatically. 6. Select the proper P/N# (product
number). Please check on the back label/rating 7. Click
on Apply button 8. Restart Win'95
Back
- If you want to use LCD panel for Win NT
4.0:
It is not necessary to install
the driver. LCD is compatible with Win NT 4.0 because you
can select the mode and the refresh rate manually.
Back
- If you have a fuzzy/blurry/unclear
display:
The LT12S/SB was
pre-adjusted in the factory with standard VGA timing. Due to
output timing differences among various VGA cards, you may
initially experience an unstable and/or unclear display when a new
display mode or new VGA card is selected.
To stabilize and
clarify your display, follow this procedure in this
order: 1. To stabilize, adjust the monitor's
Frequency/Clock setting. 2. To clarify, adjust
the monitor's Focus/Phase setting for a clear
picture.
It may be necessary to go back to 1st step,
readjust the Frequency/Clock and then readjust the
Focus/Phase until both settings together achieve a stable
focused image. Alternating between these two settings may be
necessary before the best balance is achieved.
If you use
extension cable to connect your LCD monitors to your PC system,
please check you extension cable or connect your LCD monitors
directly to your PC system.
Back
- If you do not have display on LCD
Panel:
Please do the following
steps: 1. Make sure that the power indicator on the LCD
monitor is lit. All connections are secure, and system is running
on correct timing. (Refer to Question#5 for information on LT12S/12SB's
timing; refer to Question#6 for information on FT15/15G's
timing.) 2. Turn off the LCD monitor and turn it back on
again. Press the right Function Select Control button once
and then press either left or right Adjustment Control button
several times. If there is still no display, press the other
Adjustment Control button several times. 3. If 2nd step
does not work, connect your PC system with another external CRT.
If your PC System functions properly with a CRT monitor but it
does not function with the LCD monitor, the output timing of the
VGA card may be out of the LCD's synchronous range. Please change
to an alternate mode listed in Question#5, for LT12S/12SB, or/and Question#6, for FT15/15G or replace the
VGA card and repeat 1st and 2nd steps.
Back
- If you get smaller screen on LCD
Panel:
For LT12S/12SB, you
need to set it up at 800x600 mode to get full screen. (Refer to Question# 3) For FT15/15G, you need to
set it up at 1024x768 mode to get full screen. (Refer to Question# 3)
